WELCOME MESSAGE

Dear Friends,

I am delighted to extend this invitation to attend our next Biennial NASPOG Conference in March of 2024 in Aurora Colorado!  As the president of NASPOG, I am thrilled to host this conference on the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, home to a robust community of women's health clinicians, researchers, and advocates. Aurora is located in the Denver metro area, known for its access to the outdoors!  Consider extending your stay for some world-class skiing or snowboarding, or if you would prefer, take a scenic hike in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  Denver is also rich with restaurants, art, and historical attractions.

The mission of NASPOG is to promote the study and clinical application of the neurobiological and psychosocial aspects of women’s health and well-being across the life span. Every two years, NASPOG conducts a meeting as a forum for scientific and clinical discussion with oral presentations, poster sessions, symposia, roundtable discussions and invited speakers. NASPOG’s members comprise a wide range of professionals and trainees from obstetrics and gynecology, psychiatry, psychology, behavioral science, public policy, sociology, nursing, social work, public health and law.

This year’s conference, Discovery and Power to Advance Women's Mental Health Across the Lifespan, will provide a forum for all practitioners and scientists working in the field of women’s mental health to come together and exchange their scientific and applied work. The conference will help each of us evolve our practice, leadership, and research to most effectively support the health and well-being of women across the lifespan.  The 2 ½ -day program will be structured around oral and poster presentations, symposia, mentorship opportunities, and key note presentations. And there will be plenty of time to network, connect, and play.

I look forward to seeing you soon!

Warmly,

Sarah Nagle-Yang
